On April 24, the Ethicontrol team participated in the “Business Security in the Age of War and AI” conference, a major event in Kyiv that brought together security professionals from across Ukraine. The forum focused on how to protect organizations from the inside out through better processes, smarter tools, and stronger ethical foundations.
In a time when businesses face both physical and digital threats — from war to cyberattacks — this kind of event feels more important than ever.
One of the strengths of this conference was its combination of theoretical and practical approaches to business security. Alongside each discussion panel, participants could attend hands-on workshops designed to offer useful, real-world tools for professionals working in corporate security. This flexible format allowed attendees to choose what suited them best, whether they preferred in-depth discussions or practical training.

Ethicontrol at the event
We welcomed the opportunity to engage in significant discussions regarding business security. In our booth, we presented how our incident response system assists businesses in identifying risks earlier on, investigating and reacting promptly, and enhancing corporate security as a whole.
We saw a lot of new faces — and a few familiar ones as well. It is always like being back home when we encounter long-standing clients we've served for many years. Such an event is an excellent platform to swap notes on security and compliance, and receive valuable feedback and suggestions concerning our platform.
As is our habit, we took along a bit of our signature merch — a small token way of leaving behind a reminder of ourselves and the occasion. If you happen to run into us at an event, don’t hesitate to visit our booth, say hello, and pick up some fun security- and compliance-themed merch.
General impression
We felt privileged to participate in this event together with other key players in the business security market. We got to meet new individuals, meet up with current clients, and learn more about the current business security status in Ukraine amid these unprecedented times.
From internal investigations conversations all the way up to panels discussing the role of AI and automation within security, one theme stood out: the future of corporate security is proactive and technology-focused, yet profoundly human. We’re honored to enable organizations that are moving towards that future.
The convention achieved a thoughtful balance of urgency and optimism that reminded us that innovation and partnership can make significant strides even in uncertain times.
