Here is the direct output of the release:

Ukrenergo, a state-owned enterprise, advocates for maximum transparency and introduces international best practices - sets up an independent third-party company to receive reports of ethics and compliance violations. Ukrenergo has entered into an agreement with a specialized company, Ethicontrol, which will process phone calls, emails, and messages acting as a guarantor of anonymity.

"An effective hotline is an important element of the compliance program and one of the most effective tools for detecting and preventing corruption, fraud, and ethics violations. The Ukrenergo ethics hotline is the single entry point for all messages, their automatic registration, providing the impossibility to delete or ignore any message, as well as external control by the Supervisory Board, "commented the compliance officer of the State Enterprise" NEC "Ukrenergo" Gleb Bakalov.

In addition to the call center services, Ethicontrol equipped Ukrenergo with software that allows the applicant to anonymously communicate with the office, send video and audio files, monitor the status of reviewing their online report, and much more. Previously, Ukrenergo began fully implementing the Compliance Standards of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

"The transfer of the hotline to outsourcing enhances trust in the line itself and guarantees more confidentiality for employees compared to the internal hotline. After all, the contractor is not a biased person. We hope that the introduction of the trust line and compliance tool as a whole will strengthen the reputation of the company, improve the corporate culture, more effectively prevent and counteract law abuses, conflicts of interest, and non-compliance with standards and norms, which is important for successful integration with ENTSO-E, "- underlined Vsevolod Kovalchuk, Head of SE "NEC" Ukrenergo ".
