On April 3, 2025, the Business Security Evolution Conference took place at the Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center in Kyiv — a major event in the field of corporate security, organized by the SB Club with the support of Sheriff. The conference served as a unique platform for sharing experience, ideas, and practical tools among professionals responsible for ensuring business security.
Ethicontrol participated in the event alongside other industry leaders, including Sheriff and Ukrainian Armor. It was an honor for us to be represented among the key players shaping the future of corporate security in Ukraine.
Veterans, risks, and technologies — key themes of the conference
The Business Security Evolution Conference covered a broad range of topics — from the integration of military veterans into the business environment to corporate risk management and the automation of business protection processes.
Particular interest was drawn to discussions around the implementation of information technologies and artificial intelligence within corporate security functions. As digital tools evolve rapidly, they are already transforming every aspect of business — from incident prevention to risk forecasting.
One of the conference’s standout features was its multi-track format, with sessions held in parallel across several halls. This allowed participants to choose the topics most relevant to their specific professional interests.
At times, choosing was no easy task — the agenda was so rich and timely that many attendees wished they could attend every session at once. The organizers did an excellent job curating a program where each talk delivered practical value and real-world relevance.

Among dozens of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking sessions, Oleg Lahodienko, CEO and co-founder of Ethicontrol, also took the stage. Ethicontrol is a company that has been developing solutions for ethical reporting, whistleblower case management, and internal investigations for several years.
Oleg’s talk, titled “Internal Feedback Management Systems,” focused on the importance of open communication within organizations.
In his speech, Oleg emphasized that internal feedback is not just a tool for uncovering misconduct — it is a foundation for organizational growth, trust, and resilience. Employees need to feel safe and confident when raising concerns, and that sense of security enables companies not only to address problems early but also to grow stronger as a result.
Ethicontrol also hosted own stand, where we demonstrated how our reporting channels and case management platform work in practice — helping organizations receive, process, and investigate internal reports effectively.
Throughout the day, we actively engaged with conference attendees, shared our expertise, discussed key topics from the sessions, and handed out branded merchandise to spark meaningful conversations around ethics, transparency, and trust in business.
